TheRustyArm is my journey through youth baseball with my young rusty haired baseball playing son, Lefty. As a father and part-time coach, I want to do the best I can for him. But, how? I am on a journey to find out and I will share with you what I learn. I want to hear about your experiences. We can learn from each other. One of the things I enjoy the most is speaking with coaches as well as current and former players about their paths. What does it take to be successful and get to the next level? How as a parent, can I support Lefty? I hope this site helps you find information and peace of mind in this crazy world of youth sports.

Jeff, a.k.a. Rusty, has a passion for the niche, like those old school flip-up sunglasses that let you decide when you want eye protection on the field. He also enjoys writing entertaining and informative youth baseball stuff. But mostly the flip-up sunglasses thing.
